hello from san francisco.
I'm in San Francisco for a quick business trip. We are going to be in meetings almost non-stop so this morning I had about an hour of free time and took advantage- I hailed a taxi and asked the driver to take me to the Golden Gate Bridge. He was an old man originally from China and he was so excited to play temporary tour guide. He took me to the bridge, showed me where to jump out and take a few photos and then drove me around the city a bit to see cable cars and to drive down the famous Lombard Street. He gave me the history of everything we passed and when he dropped me back off he told me it had been the most fun he'd had in a long time driving his taxi. I think I've found my new way of getting the most efficient tour in a new city...
