This weeks marks #13 with baby #3 on the way. That's 13 too many weeks to wait if you ask Jackson who is insistent that the baby is big enough to come out any minute. His excitement and love for the baby is already clear, much like it was for Audrey before she was born. And speaking of the peanut, she loves giving mommy's baby belly lots of kisses each day, sometimes even peeking under my shirt, wondering where that baby everyone keeps talking about really is... Rest peacefully for the next little while, baby, because you've got two crazy little fans just waiting for you to join them in creating all things chaotic and beautiful.

Life lately has been filled with long summer days outside, stretching as far into the evening as possible with lots of popsicle breaks in between. It has been filled with sneaking in as many naps as possible to escape the pregnancy exhaustion but more often times than not just dreaming of napping. It has been filled with cheering on a little peanut who has started to use the big girl potty and loves modeling her big girl panties, almost as much as she loves the potty treats. It has been filled with work- of course- but also relishing a few extra days off here and there to go on adventures with my babies. It has been filled with watching Jackson learn to ride his big boy bike and soaking up how good it feels to watch the pride fill up his face. Life lately has been full of life, really, just simple, sometimes too chaotic, often times exhausting and uncomfortable but always lovable life.

I arrived home late Sunday after about 22 hours of travel- in a little more than a week I had been on 7 airplanes, in 5 countries and 5 states. I couldn't have been more happy to be back and on Monday Dan and I both took a vacation day to spend the day together with the babies. We ran errands, went to the park (twice), re-organized and unpacked and picked berries. The perfect day to come back home to.
