party day

"today is PARTY DAY! we are having jackson's aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and great-grandparents over to celebrate his first birthday, dr.seuss-style. he officially turns the big ONE on tuesday which will be preserved for maximized jp, mama and daddy time.while we clean, cook and get the birthday boy ready for his party (i.e. make him take a BIG nap- hopefully!), here are his 12 month shots taken a few days early...

I couldn't have said it any better, Seuss, I have no idea where this first year has gone, but what I do know is that it couldn't have been any better thanks to this little man who has completely consumed our hearts. Thank you, Lord, for choosing us to be his parents- you have blessed us beyond words.
