Dividend Day.

This past weekend was P&G Day at King's Island. I didn't want to miss it- it's such a fun tradition- but it was a risky move having arrived home from vacation around 1:30am... so Dan decided to stay home with Jonah and I took Jackson and Audrey hoping that the fun would outweigh their post-vacation exhaustion. Several rides, a few treats and our products goodie bag later, we had our annual dose of King's Island fun and were all practically sleeping standing up.

Saugatuck: Crane's Orchard!

We spent a lot of time at our favorite orchard in Saugatuck- we went apple-picking twice - and made several trips to the Pie Pantry (restaurant + bakery). So, so good! The major bonus? They had amazing gluten-free apple/blueberry/cherry crisps- both fresh and frozen so we loaded up to stock our freezer at home too. This place alone is worth the trip to Michigan and picking apples together? Some of the best memories.

best buddies.

I have lots (and lots!) of Saugatuck pictures. I've been going through them little by little and I'll share more, but one big theme I have noticed as I skim through is the sweetness between Jackson and Audrey. They have always been the best of friends, but as they grow older it's such a gift to watch how they interact with each other- their conversations, the way they balance each other out, the way he protects her and she loves on him. It's the sweetest. I love that they have each other and I love the incredible, untainted love that exists between them. I hope it never goes away.

jonah daniel: seven months.

Jonah bear is 7 months! He takes his "bear" nickname seriously and now growls when we do something he doesn't want- like changing his diaper or dressing him. It's funny every single time. He still adores Jackson and Audrey and lights up every time they come into the room- he also now does the cutest (albeit dramatic) laugh to get their attention. Almost like he wants them to know he's in on all their inside jokes too. He is ALL over the place, he sits (although is not a fan of sitting because sitting equals still and Jonah hates being still), he has two teeth (!! adorable) and as of tonight I am putting the Bumbo seat in storage because crazy butt now catapults himself out of the seat- awesome. I look at Jonah countless times a day and wonder how it is that God knew so well that we needed him in our life, that we wouldn't be complete without him. He is perfection. He is my sweet Jonah and I couldn't love him more.
