This morning we ran the Jingle Bell 5K along with Mamaw and Papaw (my mother & father-in-law). It was a super small race with a less than exciting route, but who can complain when it's December and it was almost 60 degrees and there were children Christmas carolers throughout the race. And the bonus? Dan came in 2nd place in his age group running, my father-in-law won is age group walking and I bitterly report I came in 4th running which is one spot shy of a jingle medal.
