This morning I drove an hour in the rain, waited in the waiting room at the doctor's office for an hour and 10 minutes... and then... then I heard the sweetest sound. The sound of our baby's heartbeat- it was loud and clear and I couldn't stop smiling while listening to it, memorizing its rhythm. And I haven't stopped smiling this morning as I play it back in my mind.
We cannot wait to meet you, baby!
