Give Jackson the beach and a shovel and he is the happiest kids on earth for hours. We spent every day on the beach digging and running and playing and digging some more and had to drag him inside every time. There were a couple of times when he was delerious from being exhausted, but he refused to admit defeat. The boy was born for this.

He and Audrey were both afraid of the water at first, but Jackson loved running into the waves by the end of the week and on the very last night Audrey finally took Dan's hand and walked into the water declaring that her favorite part of the week. 

Here are all the kids storming the beach... you can see our beach house in the background. It was incredible. Audrey called it our "new house" - she was convinced we were there to stay.
