I've been noticing how each of my babies play a role in our little family and how those roles have evolved over time and even change in different surroundings. Lately, when Jackson is away at school, Audrey has stepped up as Jonah's protector, his teacher, his caregiver- the roles Jackson typically plays. It's like she matures into someone much older for those few hours he is away, like she's been taking notes on how to be the "big" sister, just ready to whip out all her best tricks when she is needed most.
