Change of Plans

We had a lot of great plans for this weekend- a lot of outside time since the heat has somewhat cooled off- a lot of walks, a lot of family time, a lot of festivals to attend... but that all changed on a dime when last night I all of a sudden felt like I had been hit by a bus. Not long after Jackson started to stir in his bed and I could tell that the little man didn't feel his best either. So, plans changed. New plans included a lot of cuddling, a lot of naps, a lot of hugs and kisses and just lounging around. Here is hoping to a better feeling baby (and mama) for tomorrow.
One way to tell when this little guy isn't feeling well is if he sits still for more than 2 minutes.

Look at this face. Priceless. He tried his best to fake a smile for Daddy.

What a sad-looking pair. At least we have each other (and our blankie)

No fear, the little man still has spurts of energy and decided this morning that he wanted to crawl into his toy bin.

Eating is no problem either. I have a feeling that will never be a problem.

On a happier note, Jackson is very excited to announce that 3 of his new friends arrived this week:
On Wednesday, Claire Lyness was born.
On Thursday, Kenya Enneking was born.
On Friday, Ethan Andres was born.

We have one more very important August baby we're waiting on- my newest niece and JP's newest cousin, Baby Girl Engel is expected to arrive in Denver around August 23rd!

JP can't wait to meet all of his little buddies and discover the world with them!
